enJOY

June 9, 2015 by Andrew L'Esperance

The final speech at my graduation/commencement left a little to be desired. I came across this one about a month ago and saved the link so I could read it again. Addressing the graduating class at the University of Houston, Matthew McConaughey threw down some gold. I think this quote below holds a good message and the whole piece is full of good stuff. Check out the complete article 13 Lessons Learned.

“The sooner we become LESS IMPRESSED — with our life, our accomplishments, our career, the prospect in front of us. As soon as we become LESS IMPRESSED — and MORE INVOLVED with these things, the sooner we get a whole lot better at doing them.” – Matthew McConaughey

This past weekend I raced the second round of the Canada Cup in Horseshoe Valley, Ontario. The race was really good for the team coming out with wins in the pro men and women fields along with the overall series leaders jerseys. Read some perspectives from the whole team Norco Factory Team News.

I am continuing to improve coming through the first couple races in the series. There were several successes for me during my race and I intend to build on them for next week in Hardwood Hills. I am enJOYing the approach, and that IS the DESTINATION.

We did some filming for the Norco Race Development bike early in the week and had a lot of fun doing it!
